The Stone Pony Story
Over ten years ago, my New Year’s Resolution was to learn to bake bread from scratch. After a few attempts to work with dough, I discovered clay. Drawing from my high school and college art classes, the focus of my resolution changed from baking to making — Stone Pony Pottery was born.
A Little Introduction
I’m Sue Zimmer, the artist behind Stone Pony Pottery.
Living in a rural setting and being an outdoor enthusiast inspire me to incorporate bits of nature into my designs. You’ll find that many of my pieces are organic, irregular in shape and size, and intentionally created to be one-of-a-kind. As an avid equestrian and serious dog lover, my designs are often horse or dog focused.

Stone Pony Pottery specializes in custom made-to-order items such as dog show prizes, business gifts with your logo for staff and clients, horse show awards, and pieces unique to your needs. My custom order minimum is $250. Individual ready-made pieces are available through Etsy, without the order minimum.

Pottery is food, dishwasher and microwave safe. It is best hand-washed to ensure a long life with your family.

Your order will be carefully packaged with suitable shipping insurance. If it arrives damaged we will send a new one.
